Hello Parent!
We have had another busy fun week here in Kindergarten.
In Literacy we have added the word "are" to the word wall. We also made words from the -it family.
In Science we had been learning about how things move. Yesterday we went outside and moved in all kinds of ways. We went back and forth, straight, zipzag, around and around, and up and down. It was so fun!
Science Night- This is tonight, February 17 from 6-7:30. This is a fun evening for you and your children to participate in many fun science experiments. Please bring your family out for a fun evening.
Jump Rope for Heart0 You received a flyer in your child's red folder yesterday regarding the details. The kids will be jumping next week and the money is due by Friday, March 4.
Vision Fest- This is free vision screening for low income families. If you have any questions please contact our wonderful school nurse, Pam Taylor.

100th Day
It took a long time to make it here but we have finally done it. We made it to the 100th Day of KINDERGARTEN!!! What a great time we had! I am sure that you have hear that "Zero the Hero" came to our classroom to visit. He brought us some special surprises and we had a great time dancing and singing along with him.

ZZZZZEROOO the HEEEEERO!!!

Dancing, Dancing!

We also made necklaces with 100 fruit Loops, made 100 Day snack bags, and had lots of fun visiting each Kindergarten class and doing a fun 100th Day activity.
