Hello parents! I wanted to let you know about some exciting things that are coming up…
Friday, January 28th the children are invited to dress up as a community helper to help us celebrate the unit we are currently working on.

Thursday, February 3rd is our 100th Day of School!!!! To incorporate this day into our learning, we would like the children to bring in a collection of 100 things (pennies, Cheerios, paperclips, or a combination of things, etc). We are also going to stress our spotlighted character trait, Citizenship, buy collecting and donating 100 cans of food. It would be great if you could help us reach our goal by sending in a can (or more if you want) of food. We will donate these to the Frisco Family Services Food Pantry!

Lastly, I want to remind you that we have hit flu season. If your child has had a fever, they may not return to school until they have been fever free for 24 hours. Please, please help us by keeping your student home if they are sick. It is very difficult for us to make it through the day when we are not feeling well and puts the other friends’ health in jeopardy. Thank you so much for helping us out with this request!
